Vice-President, Asset Allocation

As Vice-President, Asset Allocation, Jean-François is responsible for TCC’s strategic and tactical asset allocation. He is also a longstanding member of the Investment Committee (IC).

Prior to joining the team in 2015, Jean-François was senior investment strategist for one of the largest public pension plans in Canada where he was involved in asset allocation decisions and assessing the macroeconomic outlook. Previously, he also worked as asset allocation advisor for institutional clients of a large para-public organization. He brings close to 20 years of experience in the asset/liability management and macroeconomic analysis.

Jean-François holds a Bachelor of Actuarial Science from Laval University and a Master of Applied Finance from the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). He is also a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA), a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA) as well as a CFA charterholder.
