As Senior Portfolio Manager, Absolute Return, Simon oversees the internal absolute return strategy. He is a member of TCC’s Investment Committee (IC) and the Absolute Return Investment Committee (ARIC). In his role, he is also responsible for uncovering attractive investment opportunities across asset classes through systematic and discretionnary strategies, seeking to add different return streams to the portfolio. Simon brings over 20 years of investment and risk management experience.

Prior to joining TCC in 2012, he worked for a boutique asset manager focused on global real estate securities, where he was involved in risk management and portfolio construction. Simon holds a Bachelor of Actuarial Science from the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), as well as a Master of Business Administration from HEC Montréal. He is also an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) and a CFA charterholder.
